Attend or Sponsor an Event

You can join in the effort of rebuilding lives by taking part in one of the inspirational Hope Center events that take place each year. You can attend an event, volunteer or become a sponsor. Sponsorships are a great way for businesses to show the community that they reach out to those in need in Lexington. Terrific sponsor partnerships are available; contact cthayer@www.hopectr.org or call the Development Department at 859-225-4673 for more information.

Ball Homes Night of Hope

Since 2009, the Ball Homes Night of Hope has been the premier event of the year for the Hope Center. Past speakers include Chris Gardner (author of The Pursuit of Happyness), Jeanette Walls (author of The Glass Castle), Steve Lopez (author of The Soloist), Chef Jeff (Food Network star) and Chris Herren (former NBA star). All proceeds from the evening go to the Hope Center, battling homelessness, addiction and mental illness.

Supporters and clients of the Hope Center pack the Lexington Opera House in the late Fall for the Ball Homes Night of Hope. The program features uplifting music from UK Opera Theatre, video vignettes from Hope Center clients, and a candid, compelling talk from our featured speaker.

Sponsorship is key to the success of this event, which raises over $100,000 for the Hope Center. If you or your company would like to partner with us on this event, contact Carrie Thayer at 859-225-4673 or cthayer@hopectr.org.
