Sometimes homeless people, especially those with disabilities, need a little extra help connecting with the resources they need. That’s where Social Services comes in.
Staffed by a licensed counselor, the program assists clients with housing, health care, transportation, finances, nutrition, therapeutic counseling, outreach services and homelessness prevention.
It might be something as simple as a bus ticket or as complex as claiming Social Security or Veterans’ benefits. It might mean working with a landlord to negotiate security deposit payments, or it might mean linking the client to another agency in town that can help.
Our Social Services program is flexible and innovative. Ways are found to help clients find their own way.
