HopeMobile Mobile Outreach Program
Sometimes the people who need the Hope Center the most are not at the Hope Center. The Mobile Outreach Team works from the streets of Lexington to help homeless people wherever they may be.
The Mobile Outreach Team includes a nurse and two case managers. It operates from a custom motor home (the HopeMobile) parked at a different downtown church location each weekday. Here, homeless men, women and children are able to find the help and hope that they need to get back on their feet.
This aggressive outreach program meets homeless people where they are and assists them with basic needs including food, clothing and healthcare. It also provides referrals for shelter, counseling and job training at the Hope Center and other agencies.
The HopeMobile is parked at the following locations from
7:30 am – 1:30 pm each weekday:
Mondays – Calvary Baptist Church, 150 E. High St.
Tuesdays – Woodland Christian Church, 530 E. High St.
Wednesdays – Maxwell St. Presbyterian Church, 180 Maxwell St.
Thursdays – Broadway Christian Church, 187 N. Broadway
Fridays – Shiloh Baptist Church, 237 E. 5th St.
