IMMEDIATE NEEDS
Hopemobile
There are many hungry people right here in our city. Could you help feed them?
This year the Hope Center’s mobile outreach unit, the HopeMobile, is distributing more than 6,000 food units per month to people who are homeless or marginally housed. The need for food is rising and the supply is diminishing. Could you help? This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for a church group, professional group, youth group, etc., or even for individuals.
Here are the specific needs:
- 40 sandwiches to serve on Mondays
- 40 sandwiches to serve on Wednesdays
- 100 sandwiches to serve on the third Thursday of each month
- 80 servings of snack cakes every week
- any individual packed food item (cookies, chips, fruit, etc)

Men's Center
At the Men's Center we are in need of:
- floor mats due to our increase in occupancy at our emergency homeless shelter
- a riding lawnmower
- cassette tape players
- bilingual educational resources for our Hispanic clients
George Privett Recovery Center
List of kitchen supplies we need for 150 people for the opening of our new men's center:
- plates- large
- soup Bowls- 8oz

For the kitchen:
- 8-6ft long metro shelves
- 8 large baking sheets
- 10 small baking sheets
- various serving & cooking spoons, tongs, ladles, whisks
- knives for food prep & cooking
- 5 4in hotel pans w/ lids
- 8 4 ½in size hotel pans
- 2 6in hotel pans
- 1 large strainer
- 4 large lexan bins w/lids
- 4 small lexan bins
- 1 small funnel
- 1 large funnel
- various small plastic storage bottles and pans
- food brush
- salt and pepper shakers
Women's Center
At the Women's Center we are in need of:
- a vacuum cleaner
- a carpet cleaner
Clinic
In the clinic we are in need of:
- sunscreen SPF 15 and higher
- calamine lotion
