In-Kind Giving

Our mobile outreach program, the HopeMobile, distributes 100-150 brown bag lunches each day to the downtown Lexington homeless. We rely on volunteers to prepare sandwiches and lunches for our HopeMobile.

In-Kind Giving: DonationsOur clients are getting back on their feet, and the Hope Center can always use donations of gently-used clothing, household items and travel size personal hygiene items, such as shampoo, soap, disposable razors, shaving cream and deodorant. We cannot accept any alcohol based toiletries including hand sanitizer or mouthwash.

Donations of Men’s Clothing and Toiletries, as well as hats, gloves and outerwear may be dropped off at the Hope Center’s Men’s Emergency Shelter located at 360 W. Loudon Avenue in Lexington, KY.

Donations of Women’s Clothing may be dropped off at the Hope Center’s Ball-Quantrell Recovery Center for Women, located at 1524 Versailles Road in Lexington, KY.

The Hope Center serves more than 800 people each day and night. There are many needs to be met and many items needed. Donations such as the following are needed every day. If you have any questions about donating in-kind items, please contact Carey Cairo at 859-225-4673. All donations for men can be dropped off at the Emergency Shelter at 360 W. Loudon Avenue. Women’s items can be dropped off at the Women’s Recovery Center.
